Samantha Edwards Appointed New Leasing and Marketing Counselor at Richfield Living

Richfield Living is pleased to announce the selection of Samantha Edwards as our new Leasing and Marketing Counselor

Edwards, who studied at Draughon’s Junior College and Virginia Western Community College with a concentration in nursing, joined the team in March.

Samantha began her career in healthcare 16 years ago in Nashville, TN. She found her true calling in helping seniors and made her way to Southwest Virginia, where she began working at Richfield Recovery & Care Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant and led the Restorative Department. During her career, she has experienced great success in home care, hospice, and marketing. Samantha is returning home to Richfield to share her depth of expertise, during a very exciting time for the residents, team members, and community.

“I have always had a passion for working with seniors, and my heart felt the fullest when I was working with Richfield. Over the years, I have spent time on campus for work and community events, and I remain impressed with how everyone continues to make me feel like I am part of the family. I am honored to officially be back ‘home’ and am so excited to be a part of the growth and changes that lie ahead. Richfield Living embodies the culture, vision, and mission of the type of community not only do I want to work in, but one I hope to live in someday.”

Lisa Clause, Senior Director of Marketing and Philanthropy says, “Richfield Living is happy to have Samantha join our team. She brings a love for our community and healthcare experience which will encourage those who want to learn more about independent living at Richfield. When someone comes back home to Richfield, we know they are committed to the values of the organization. Samantha embodies respect, integrity, service, excellence, and stewardship which is already reflected in her leasing and marketing capabilities.” Lisa also stated that, “Samantha’s role will include leasing the new 140 independent living units being built at Richfield Living’s Salem campus.”
