“I am thrilled to be part of an organization that is in tune and believes in person-directed living. The traditional model of long term care has not changed for more than 70 years, and many continue doing it the same way out of mer routine. I deeply respect organizations that move outside of that task-oriented, unbending structural institution towards true home, true choice, and a flattened hierarchical chart where the resident is the focus. My goal is to support person-directed living as it not only provides purpose and meaning for the residents, it directly empowers the staff to thrive.”
