Rose B. has worked at Richfield for 36 years in various roles and most currently as Marketing Assistant. Soon after coming to work in the community, she met a young man named Gale. They worked in buildings near each other with a flower garden in between. One of Rose’s responsibilities as activity coordinator was to care for the flowers. Gale would tell his co-workers that he had to go “smell the roses” when he actually wanted to talk to Rose. They were married with their wedding reception held on campus. Gale retired recently and Rose still enjoys working at Richfield. They enjoy traveling and camping with family and friends.
