Secure, spacious independent living apartments

Whether you prefer the convenience of independent living apartments or the extra space and privacy of a patio home, you’ll find Richfield Living’s senior independent living communities provide options and flexibility unsurpassed. With our renewable rental agreements, you can select living options designed to make your cost of living as closely matched to your needs as possible.

Community engagement includes an IT Concierge, a menu of activities that engage all the senses, and a full time Community Engagement Manager. Richfield Living promotes wellness and well-being on all levels, and if you have a talent or desire to learn new skills, then consider calling Richfield home.

Our goal is to provide a senior community that fosters independence, wellness and security so you can enjoy life to the fullest, right here in Virginia. Our expansion to 140 new villas and independent living apartments also includes a 25,000 square foot Town Center bringing all areas of our campus together. Amenities include multiple dining options, a new wellness studio and community center, and a new integrated chapel – all open to residents and the public.

Not just a place to live. A home.

Trade shoveling sidewalks for taking long walks. Trade building maintenance for building friendships. At Richfield Living, our warm and caring team will take care of the little things, so you can enjoy all the amenities our senior community has to offer. Additionally, should your health or the health of a loved one change, you’ll have access to a full constellation of healthcare services without leaving the Richfield campus.

The Town Center ~ the heart of our community.

Richfield Living’s Town Center is now open! Featuring a two-story lobby and Atrium overlooking the lake, the Town Center is the hub of our community. The Town Center physically links to the Lake Retreat apartments and residents can enter through a heated underground parking lot.

Here residents gather with family and friends for lunch or dinner at the Anser Café, Roost 52 for lounging, or The Quill for dinner service; attend a special event in the community room or work out in the Wellness Studio. The Town Center also houses the Richfield Chapel which features the custom stained glass window saved from the previous chapel at Richfield. At Richfield Living, your home extends beyond the front door of your individual residence. It includes the beautiful grounds and a local gathering place with the addition of the Town Center!

"I like it here because there is a friendly attitude everywhere. There are activities all the time, inside, outside, all year round! Anywhere you go there is someone to help you and make you feel at home. I have made a lot of friends here that I will cherish for a long time."
